The Gyeonggi provincial government announced on the 10th that it has received 300,000 masks from BioPlus.

According to the province, a “dental mask donation ceremony” was held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government. The event was attended by Lee Yong-chul, the first vice governor of administrative affairs, Chung Hyun-kyu, CEO of BioPlus Co., Hong Jin-woo, director of BioPlus, and former Namyangju Vice Mayor Choi Hyun-deok.

300,000 masks donated on the day will be sent to Covid-19 medical sites, including health centers, screening clinics, temporary screening centers and living treatment centers in the province.

Lee Yong-chul, the first vice governor of administrative affairs, said, “I sincerely thank BioPlus Co., Ltd. and CEO Chung Hyun-kyu for providing a meaningful position. We will make sure that the items you gave can be used first by medical staff dedicated to the purpose of donation.”

“Although it is not enough, I think it will be meaningful if it can contribute even a little to the Covid-19 quarantine,” said Chung Hyun-kyu, CEO of BioPlus Co., Ltd. “In the future, we will make efforts to fulfill our responsibilities as a member of society.”

BioPlus Co., Ltd. is a small and medium-sized company established in 2003 that produces medical devices such as fillers and anti-adhesion drugs, cosmetics and masks.

Bioplus Co., Ltd. (Namyangju = Jo Tae-in Reporter) donated 100,000 dental masks to the Namyangju Welfare Foundation on the 5th to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to protect the community.

100,000 dental masks donated on the day will be delivered to all institutions that provide support for disabled activities in the jurisdiction through the Namyangju Welfare Foundation.

Lee Se-yoon, vice president of BioPlus Co., Ltd., who attended the delivery ceremony, said, “I know that many people are having a hard time due to the prolonged Covid-19. “I’m glad that this sponsorship will help ease the burden of buying masks for neighbors in need and help them stay healthy.”
